Little Truckee Ice Creamery is staying open for the winter season on Fridays-Sundays plus full hours through Thanksgiving & Winter Break.
Little Truckee Ice Creamery in Truckee, CA is looking for an outgoing customer service oriented ice cream scooper and barista. We are entering out fall and winter season and are hiring for a new counter staff position.
Current shop hours are Friday 12:30-8:30 pm, Saturday 12:30-8:30 pm, Sunday, 12:30-6:30 pm (Possible Monday 12:30-6:30 pm)
Applicant should be self motivated and willing to work alone at the shop. Responsibilities include opening procedures, counter service of taking orders, scooping ice cream and making espresso drinks. Employee should be willing and capable of keeping the shop clean and organized, washing dishes, interesting in a friendly was will customers and going through closing procedures.
Pay is $12-$15 per hour plus tips which usually equates to over $20 hr. on average.
Responsibilities
- Opening procedures
- Socializing with customers
- Scooping ice cream and keeping ice cream and related products stocked
- Making coffee and tea drinks.
- Cleaning
- Keeping shop organized
- Closing procedures
- Answering the phone
Qualifications
- Must be 18 or older
- Must have own transportation
- Friendly and social
- Able to lift 30 pounds comfortably
- Willing to work alone and with others
- Able to count money
- Stay organized and self motivated to be productive
- Be on time and show up when scheduled
- High school or collage graduate preferred
- Live in or near Truckee, CA.
